The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is organizing a walk in interview to engage one Field Coordinator and five Project Assistants (Indian national only) on Thursday, 20thth, September 2012.
After selection these project personnel are required to support Wildlife Institute of India in the Askote Landscape, Pithoragarh District, Uttarakhand for implementation of the Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Improvement Project.

Field Coordinator
Project Title – Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Improvement
Vacancy – 1
Monthly Emoluments – Rs. 18,000/- consolidated
Essential Qualification –
(1) First class Master’s degree in Biological Science or Forestry or Wildlife Science or Natural Resource Management
(2) At least three years’ field research experience in Himalayas.
Project Assistants
Project Title -Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Improvement
Vacancy – 5
Monthly emoluments – Rs. 12,000/- consolidated

Important Notes
Candidates who will be selected will be engaged initially for a period of one year which will be extended based on the satisfactory performance of assigned tasks and requirements of the project.
Walk-in-Interview date – 20th September, 2012
House rent allowance (HRA) will not be paid,but during their field stay, the project personnel will be provided accommodation at the base camp
